The Profile Anywhere™ solution allows businesses with or without websites to get certified by a Seal provider and display an “offline” seal in emails, or any other electronic document that can contain hyperlinks. The Offline Seal invites viewers to verify that the company is certified by clicking on the Seal, which opens the verified company profile in a separate window, if the company is indeed certified.

The “Offline” Seal: The Offline Seal, is essentially an image with an underlying hyperlink. It is “offline” as it is not controlled by the OTS, i.e. by the Seal provider. The purpose of the offline Seal is to show that the business has registered for certification, and to invite users to verify the certification by clicking on the Seal, thereby opening a verified profile.

The Verified Profile: Unlike the Offline Seal, the Verified Profile is controlled by the Seal provider through the TP Zone technology, meaning that the Seal provider controls the content and display of the Verified Profile. Therefore, when the Offline Seal is clicked the page with the TP Zone is opened, and the TP Zone authenticates if the customer is indeed certified. If the customer is certified, the appropriate profile will be displayed, and if not, a notice notifying that the customer is not certified will appear.
