Technology Overview

The Trusted Partners Technology Framework, or TP Framework, leverages the Trusted Partners Secure Zone, or TP Zone, to serve as the technological base for all of our platforms, solutions and products. To date, we have packaged the TP Framework into our flagship solution platform, the Online Trust Solution, or the OTS. Read more about the OTS…

The Trusted Partners Secure Zone

Our ground breaking technology gives owners of Trusted Partners solutions a secured, controlled “window” through which to display content on 3rd party websites, we call this the “Trusted Partners Secure Zone“, or for short, the “TP Zone”. Purveyors of the 3rd party sites “install” code (see below) for displaying the TP Zone. Once installed, whenever the page with the TP Zone installed is loaded in a browser, the TP Zone authenticates the website vis a vis the Back Office application, and once authenticated, delivers content to the TP Zone. Which content is delivered is determined and controlled by the owners of the Trusted Partners solution / TP Zone through the Back Office application.

In the Trusted Partners Smart Seal & Profile solution, the TP Zone is used to deliver a seal of certification to websites, giving the providers of the seal full control of the seal. Read more about the Smart Seal & Profile solution….

One Line of Code A key feature of the TP Zone is its ability to authenticate a website without requiring any parameters to be passed to it. The result is that the code for displaying the TP Zone does not require any modifications or special setup by the company installing the TP Zone on their website, i.e. Trusted Partners products and solutions based on the TP Zone are delivered to end users using a simple line of html / javascript code that is identical for all users, and is installed on websites with the same ease as an image.

Back Office

The control center of the TP Framework is the Back Office application. Data for companies is entered into the Back Office application, and selection of content to be provided through the TP Zone is done through it as well. Once the content to be delivered to a website thought the TP Zone is determined, the Back Office application allows its users to control whether the content will be displayed or not on a given website.

Within the OTS the Back Office application is called the Online Trust Management System, or OTMS. Data entry, Seal and Profile management and delivery as well as all other OTS solutions are controlled through the OTMS.

3rd Party System Connectivity : As seal providers and other users of Trusted Partners solutions often have their own existing systems for managing their customers' data collected through other business lines, the TP Framework provides for interfacing with the framework through customizable web-services. For instance, a seal provider may wish to collect customer data and have it update their legacy systems first and then have it inserted into the Trusted Partners’ solution. This can be managed by such a web-service.

Architecture

The Trusted Partners Technology Framework, or TP Framework, was created as the base for developing global solutions and products that leverage the TP Zone, and it was designed and built on the following principles:

Global: Based on the concept of ‘Cloud Computing’, the TP Framework offers certain services on a worldwide level, to allow for the Global scope of TP solutions.

Local: The TP Framework is highly configurable and multilingual, allowing for localization of TP solutions to regional requirements.

Distributed Web Architecture: The TP Framework is built from multiple components, each delivering different functionality, and these components speak with each other using web services (over the internet or over local networks).

Scalability: As the TP Framework is accessed each time a TP Zone is loaded in an end user browser, scalability is critical to any TP solution. Redundancy, application level fail over and the TP Frameworks’ distributed architecture ensure that TP solutions easily scale with the growth in the customer base of any given solution implementation.

Secure: The TP Framework employs a number of application level and infrastructure level security mechanisms, to ensure the integrity of the system, to provide authenticated access rights to data stored in the system and to the systems services and interfaces and to guarantee the safety and accuracy of the services and content delivered via the TP Zone.

Best of Breed Infrastructure: The TP Framework is a Microsoft .Net Solution, leveraging the best of what the .Net environment has to offer.
